Post A few suggestions for the game and forum.

This is an (un)organized pile of suggestions I think would be great for the forum community and the in-game community.

Game:

Titles:

This would be like achievements you get to show off, it would be worked using /titles which would show you a list of your titles. Then /title (title #) to change your title.
Your title would be shown only when another character clicks on you. Your name would be bumped up showing your title underneath your name.
Titles would be unlocked by completing various tasks. For example you might unlock "Newb" for completing all the quests on Newb's Isle. You could unlock titles by getting a certain number of kills, certain number of quests complete, collecting a certain amount of gold, "merchant" for example from buying/selling from the shop a lot.

Guilds:

Guilds, if done right, can be a great addition to the game. I think guilds should cost around 1,000 coins to create, this would make a very nice coin sink for the game and prevent any random person from making a guild as soon as he/she logs in.
Create a guild chat, where guild members can talk in private, and it should be made impossible to attack another guild member.
I think a neat leveling system could be something along the lines of everyone's level in the guild counts towards the guild's level. Say to get your guild from level 1 to 2 you need 50 points. So, to get to level 2 you would need a sum total of everyone's level in the guild to equal 50 or above.
Bob lv. 23 and Joe lv. 25 = 48 (a level 1 guild)
Bob lv. 23 Joe lv. 25 and Bill lv. 6 = 54 (a level 2 guild)
Your guild would also only be shown when someone clicks on you, except instead of under your name, in the top right corner where it displays your level and username.

Leaderboards:
There should be a leaderboards button somewhere on the game screen, whether it be always there or only available after you click on a certain NPC.
After clicking on it there would be a choice of selecting "Player" or Guild"
After selecting one or the other you're automatically sent to the levels tab. Showing the top player's/guild's level, respectively.
You can then select other tabs, 'kills', 'quests', 'player kills', 'coins gathered', etc.

Thanks for reading, I will probably add more to this later. These are just some general ideas I think would make wintersun the greatest game in the entire app universe! 😀

I like these ideas Fail :) The beauty of such a young game is that it allows us all to contribute towards its production. I'm sure in the long run the game will recieve these functions. The thing is though its all been done before, so whilst these features are crucial to building a very enjoyable game, I'd like to see them implemented in a never before seen, fresh kind of way - That'll be your dillema Ian :). Great post Fail 😀

Good ideas. I like all 😀

I think he didn't add this to suggestions because he wants comments only for his suggestions and this is a very long post so...
