I wish to blueprint some new layout/menu designs as well as Keyboard functions, and some new suggestive menu addons.
Hopefully in the next few days I can post some pictures with ideas on this, in the mean time Id like to run a poll.

Are you fine with the layout as it is now?
What would you change?

Health bars, vertical or horizontal? Globe or bar? Ability to remove the arrow keys off screen. Finger tap anywhere and drag to move the character(no slanted movements..?)

Anyways, any ideas on this?

I will be posting an image here soon on what things I would do. For the most part I like how it is right now. Bars for sure to really stick with the 8-bitness.

A- Character Menu
B- Quickslots
C and D- Chat Windows
Removed drop down menu for space, moves some buttons for ergonomics. Chose circle status bars for space and appearance. Placed an xp bar in the center of the status indicator.

I'd like to say my ideas are just ideas I have no idea how difficult it is to implement them, I would always say choose the easiest path.

I first like to apologize, I made all the icons myself... I am no artist.

These are just ideas. I prefer how the game has it right now as far as text and bar style.

Also, this is not on my phone, that is why there is much space, which is needed for mobile play.

1. Menu spot is fine
2. Settings, but since I split it up, there could be the individual items in settings instead
3. Joystick movement for 360 degree fun!
4. If you have played a bit, you can tell what it is. The Map of course! Great to have it easily accessible
5. Chat, which it would work in either of those two spots and not cramped up by the menu.
6. I don't believe attacking should be in the menu and it should be in an easier to reach spot like I put it.
7. Loot icon that can take inventory spot.
8. INVENTORY ICON! Its supposed to look like a backpack.... I like the spot I put it so its again, easily accessible.
9. Your health and mana bars together, one stop shop... well only have to look in one place really.

There are also stat bars above the spider, tell me what you guys think about that.

The arrow across the screen is there to show that you can easily put inventory, health bars, what ever up next to the menu icon. Stat bars would probably work really nice up there.

I like how you moved the status bars to directly over the target also like the addition of the 360 movement.

Not fond of the attack and inventory buttons it's fine in function but it looks kind of sloppy I believe there should be a level of balance in the placement of the icons, fueng sheui if you will.

Maybe come up with a new map icon seeing it on the main screen it looks out of place against the other less colored icons and switch the map and chat icon. I feel like the map button gets used more than the chat menu.

Good job and the icons look really accurate from what I can see.

I will disagree about the map icon. It seems like what you said, and I agree it can be shrunk a little and also all the icons in game have slight opacity, probably seeing 10-20%.

Ima post another one here soon, that I think would work well.

About the same, just moved things around, added skills, and re-sized a couple things.
