Post Project roadmap / goals

Hi!

These are some of the goals and part of the roadmap for WinterSun:

* To be driven be users and the communities feedback in implementing features and guiding the direction of the project

* Client will always be available on Google Play and other platforms, it will eventually be paid at a point in future (likely when there is enough content and enough features are implemented) to support the project

* Server code will be free and can be run by anyone wanting to host a server, together with your own maps and tiles

* NEVER to use 'premium / pay for gold/item' stuff that affects gameplay

* There are some more ideas, which i'll put on here when I'm close to finishing them :-)

I just started the game today and I see much potential in this! Reminds me a lot of Graal Online but starting from the ground up! But how many developers are there cause I have experience with levels and gfx

When the time comes for it to be a paid game, will everyone who downloaded it before then get to keep playing free?

Probably not, considering how many players there are. This isn't really a chat thread btw

It'll be priced at some point when there is (finally) a story and lots and lots of quests and maps (there can be many large maps in the game), and will start off at a low price (like 68p or something) so those that are still around can get it. The pricing is going to be "Don't be a git" based. And there will never be in-game purchases.

So I have the opportunity to draw a tile map, NPC Placement, Quest Routes, etc...?
If so, please send some information. I have classes, 10+ at the moment. Very diverse, weak and strong points. Skill System, <Attributes will be displaced by your statistic system(basic I hope)>, I have my own story, maybe I can put a few Chain Quests in?

<Aesculetum>, Wandering Druids, gather around. No need in war, numbers will gain us strength.

It's great to see that the forum is back online. It is a shame that some topics and posts were lost but overall it's great to see the forum return. Cheers :)
